Dr. Hearn earned a Ph.D. in Material Engineering from the University of Cambridge in the U.K. and received a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto. After a distinguished, award winning academic career, Dr. Hearn embarked on a series of successful entrepreneurial ventures that created and commercialized several innovative material applications for the aerospace, electronics and sports industries. Dr. Hearn is a member of the boards of several public companies.
ECL also announced that three subsidiaries have been set up, each co-owned with an arm’s length party. Subsidiary “Extreme Creative Live Interaction System Inc.” will be developing business solutions utilizing the “Internet of Things”. Subsidiary “EC Blockchain Communications” will be investigating the application of blockchain technologies. Subsidiary “ReEllipsiz Inc.” will be sourcing telecom acquisitions in Canada. All three subsidiaries will be looking for joint venture and acquisition opportunities.
